A brief history of Gaswise and it’s evolution
Gaswise Services Ltd was created in 1984 by Frank Neal who previously worked for British Gas for 25 years as an engineer, supervisor and technical officer.
The company has grown from a small business maintaining and installing gas appliances and heating systems to become one of the largest GasSafe registered businesses in East Anglia and currently employ nearly 100 full time members of staff.
A Family Business
During this time Frank Neal’s two sons, Paul and Mark, joined the company originally working as gas engineers. Now company directors responsible for managing departments looking after the needs of both Private Sector clients and Local Authorities and Housing Associations, they have continued to develop and expand the business.
In 2001 Gaswise Services Ltd acquired a separate electrical company called Elecsure who are based within our main King’s Lynn offices to assist with all electrical aspects of our contracts.
Offices in King's Lynn, Wymondham & Spalding
In 2008 a satellite office was set up in Wymondham, Norfolk, to manage the workloads within the eastern region and, in 2009, an additional office was established in Spalding, Lincolnshire, having been awarded maintenance and installation contracts for South Holland District Councils housing stock.
In order to support the ongoing development and training needs of employees, in 2012 a dedicated training facility was opened adjacent to the main King’s Lynn showroom which operates as a linked but separate business also supporting the local college and surrounding businesses.
